Open Source Licenses

AeThex Foundation Inc. is committed to open-source software and open knowledge. The following licenses govern AeThex-produced work:

• AeThex Engine Core — GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPL v3). Any service running a modified version must release those modifications under the same license.
• AeThex SDKs & Tooling — MIT License. Free to use, modify, and distribute in commercial and non-commercial projects.
• Documentation & Educational Content — Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). You may share and adapt with attribution, under the same license.
• GameForge Curriculum — Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Non-commercial use only, with attribution and under the same license.

Financial Disclosures

AeThex Foundation Inc. is committed to financial transparency consistent with our nonprofit mission. As a 501(c)(3) pending organization, our Form 990 will be made publicly available upon filing with the IRS. All donations received are tracked and accounted for. Until 501(c)(3) status is confirmed, donations may not be tax-deductible — consult your tax advisor.

AeThex Foundation has been self-funded since 2017. No venture capital, no investor funding, no advertising revenue. The Foundation operates on donations, program fees, and direct founder contribution.

COPPA Compliance Statement: AeThex Foundation Inc. does not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 13. All AeThex services that collect personal information require users to be 13 years of age or older.
